Would a different manager really have made a difference?

Would Martin Allen have made a difference? Or Worthington or Megson?

Even though Bolton came in for Megson i believe that he saw that the club was in trouble and got out as quick as he could.....:tumbleweed:

I feel sorry for Holloway cos i believe he inherited a sinking ship....if it wasnt him it would have been someone else

I hate Megson but don't think we'd have gone down with him, we have him to thank for the defence, without which we'd have done a Derby.

Im still unsure about Martin Allen, he didn't exactly do that badly results wise for the couple of games he was here. On top of that he'd just bought an entire team, and we don't know how he was gonna play them and what he had in mind.

I think a different manager would have realised how unbelievably dogshite Steve Howard and Barry Hayles are, and would also not have loaned 3 wingers and then continued to play Hume there instead. Probably wouldn't have waited until 6 minutes from the end yesterday to do anything either, or wait about half an hour sitting in the dugout doing **** all against Sheff Wed last week.

Martin Allen brought in some right donkeys though....Jimmy Nielsen and DJ Campbell for example. I know Nielsen is gone but campbell is absoloutely awful. I think Megson was beginning to point us in the right direction....

This really doesn't quite grasp the awful reality that both CL and RK and indeed Nigel Worthington are all better managers than Holloway. :icon_conf

We'll never know but they certainly couldn't have done any worse, could they? and before any smart arse say's "Yes, we could have finished in the bottom two" we still would have been relegated so you know what I mean.

The man who really have made a difference would have been Neil Warnock but for once our teflon coated chairman who can do no wrong in his own eyes decided for once to listen to the fans and he ****ed that up too.
