Very solid performance and in the second half an excellent one. The Vardy/Slim/Mahrez combination for 30 minutes was incredible. As others have said Albrighton also excellent and despite Schmeichel making some saves the defence was in general solid.

Drinkwater such a disappointment though, other than his role in the first goal he spent most of the game picking up the ball from defence and passing it back to them. The intent I saw from Andy King going forward (apart from his quite spectacular 30 yard backpasses) is what I want to see from DD.

For a team settled in mid table the intent we put in second half was good to see.

My man of the match was Signor Mazzarri the Watford manager This was not the elegant Signor Ranieri,Signor Mancini kind of Italian. This no connoisseur of Raphael and fine wines. This was Colombo with St Vitus Dance. Every time Watford lost the ball she showed his fury and every time the referee awarded anything to Leicester he showed open amazement. If Mr Shakespeare is Moley then Signor Mazzarri is Mr Toad.

I think he was. Some of his passing was so comically poor as to be almost deliberate. Still, he does look a class act on occasions. I remember one challenge on Okaka (who is one man mountain of a player, it must be said) that looked so easy as to make Okaka look a chump; a simple foot in dispossession and a lay off to Fuchs (I think it was)

To be honest, I didn't think we played that well. Better than we have for most of the year, for sure, but we've been better. 'Solid' was a description that I think I'd agree with, but without ever really stressing ourselves. Watford had a lot of possession for long periods of the game, and we seemed quite content to let them have it - just sitting in and waiting. I wouldn't say like shooting fish in a barrel, because Watford offered real threat on occasions, but we certainly seemed confident in our ability to attack decisively - even when we didn't - and to keep them out.

I too thought Mahrez had one of his better games for us. At times, he was at his magician almost best (the free kick that Vardy squared for an almost own goal was masterfully simple) and whilst his goal owed more to Watford's comedy defending than Mahrez's technique, I was pleased to see him rewarded for some lovely play on other occasions.

Albrighton's work rate and endeavour is commendable, and seemingly never ending. He's not the classiest of players but he has good vision - vision that he sometimes cannot quite fulfil. For me though, he's in my starting line up week in, week out. He has the kind of selfless and non-showy graft that I admire and epitomises our successes.

I have to say though that I do like Ndidi. He plays with a youthful energy, confidence and exuberance, and will become one helluva player I think. He needs to learn a bit of 'when' and positional nouse but that will come with experience. I hope we're able to hang onto him for a number of seasons.

From MOTD, looks like Mahrez had some magic moments on display again.

Good win and 9th place, with a chance to finish 8th. Weirdly if we do that, combined with our CL adventures, it's been a good season and it's probably mission accomplished.

Good to see that we seemed to be showing the most effort in this one, seems like the players want a strong finish to the season

A phenonemon simply is; it is fact, discernible and observable. It is remarkable in the sense that it is identifiable/may be remarked upon as a distinct thing.

Something that is phenomenal is extraordinary/unusual/exceptional. Remarkable in the sense that it will be likely to be remarked upon.

Good game I thought. Competitive until we got the first goal and then we were always going to win. For the spell that we had Vardy, Slimani and Mahrez on the pitch together, we looked very capable and dangerous. Wouldn't it be great if we could ensure that all three were fit and fully 'heads right' for us next season? They would be exceptionally difficult to play against.

Watford are a big side aren't they? Loads of six foot plus players. I was surprised that Deeney was only a sub but apparently he and the manager don't get on so it's one or the other leaving in the summer. Whatever happened to Cleverley too - I always thought he'd go on and be a top player but he never has. Now a mediocre plodder for Watford.

I also missed the best goal of the lot as I was in the concourse. First time I've missed a goal in years. I do tend to ease my way towards the exit during the added time (not always, but often). Finding the gangway full and with the game dying in the final moments, I thought 'feck it'. School boy error. Just saw the goal and annoyed with myself now.
