I have always found the Leicester City stewards to be a pleasant good natured group. But I want to pay tribute to one special one.

Roy Young is a steward who is always cheerful, friendly and helpful. He was missing from the Wolves game. This was the first home game he had missed in decades. Roy had a good excuse in that he had a serious operation the day of the Wolves game and was in a hospital bed no doubt chatting up pretty nurses - he is 81. In that situation I would have spent Tuesday evening in a comfy chair drinking whisky and listening to Mr Ian Stringer. To my astonishment Roy was back in his usual place for the Fleetwood match - cheerful as ever despite having to go into hospital again next week.

Young people have a word for people like Roy - respect.
