Probably not too surprising, more disappointing if it came down to it. Only just watched the highlights from Saturday and he showed no response at all when Waghorn scored. You just know he'd score for Leeds if he went there.

On Sky Sports now:

Sky Sports understands that Leicester are looking to start their summer transfer business early and have lodged a bid for Hull City's Robert Koren.

The Foxes invested heavily in their squad at the start of the 2011/12 campaign, but were unable to force their way into the Championship promotion picture.

Having missed out on a play-off place, they are now looking to piece together plans for next season.

Further additions are expected and manager Nigel Pearson has wasted no time in identifying possible targets.

He believes Hull midfielder Koren would be a useful addition to his ranks, having worked with the Slovenian during his time in the KC Stadium hot-seat.

It is understood that an offer has been put to the Tigers for a man voted their Player of the Year in a recent supporter poll, and the Foxes are now waiting on a reply.

Another Pearson leaves Hull

Hull City have confirmed head of football operations Adam Pearson has left the club - but are still refusing to comment on the suspension of manager Nick Barmby.

The former Tigers chairman has had his consultancy role terminated without notice or compensation.
City owners Assem and Ehab Allam are understood to have been unhappy with media comments made by Barmby about the future direction of the club.
In a statement, the Allams confirmed Pearson's departure and were also quick to deny rumours they are looking to sell the club.
The statement said: "When we acquired the football club we made it clear we would run it in accordance with sound and proper business principles and procedures.
"We have not and will not deviate from those principles.
"Therefore although we fully appreciate the supporters' and media's desire for information we cannot comment on the manager's position at the present time. We will however provide further information when we are able to do so.
"Having listened to media speculation today over funds not being available in the January transfer window, we reiterate that funds were available as previously stated by us.
"We also confirm the club has terminated the consultancy agreement with Adam Pearson without notice and without compensation.
"We are also aware of speculation about the club being up for sale. We can categorically confirm there is no truth in that rumour and we are fully committed to Hull City and its future."
