    Enthusiasm restored

when you look at records they are pretty identical and lets face it there where lots of people calling for his head after sheff utd. If holloway can be half the manager O'Neill is then we have got a good one and as I have previously said lets just get behind him.

    Enthusiasm restored

well said JF - I along with a majority of the fan base just wants us to be successful. I live in the north east and if you think we have it bad you should try listening to the geordies, mackems and smogies at least in recent times we have won trophies. Jury will obviously be out on Holloway but...

    City's England

All this talk of no decent young english players coming through the ranks has got me thinking. During our history we have supplied 15 players to the England cause, whilst still wearing the blue and white. Here they are and my formation - still unsure of central defenders though, but I know...

    Second chance Saloon

Any player should be given a chance by the new manager, until he blows it. But I fear that he was one of those players who came in and never tried that hard - he won't get the chance to underperform under MA - however we can't get rid of him as his wages are a stumbling block

    Fryatt Out, McLeod In !

:038: well said, too many times have we gone against a player only for them to leave and become a quality player - Mark Bright definately springs to mind. Fryatt has not exactly set the world on fire but then again none of the players we have had in in the past four seasons have. the last time...

I agree with you boc, but in truth ther's not that many keepers of any nationality who can do the job. We have been blessed with some great keepers over the years. We need a serious 'spine' and a commanding keeper, we have just got to trust MA's judgement

    Douglas

wasn't just useless hands - sometimes he didn't know where the pitch was let alone the goal, back four, front two, crowd etc etc:tumbleweed:

Mandaric flies in to seal deal

Allen can do a job and lead us forward. Beggars can't be choosers, but we have the facilities and the ambition to go places. The Blue Army will always have the doom mongerers - ' I had forgotten about the 23 March ' - as a legend once said.
