    Academy win again...

King, Mattock and Chambers all in the team... Would that suggest Ollie is not considering them for the weekend, or, for that matter, the immediate future?

January transfer window rumours - bullplop or not!

Re: Capaldi He'd be alright. I think it's becoming clear that Ollie doesn't rate Sheehan and Mattock is certainly a bit too young to expect too much from. I watched the Wolves game and most of the danger seemed to come down the left side (barring the goal!)...This probably has a lot to do...

Who's Holloway Told To Pack Their Bags?

To be honest...I'd be tempted to part with any of them. Each and every one is part of the least successful period in the club's history. Not one of them would be part of a successful premiership club, as evidenced by the fact that we haven't sold a player to a successful Premiership club in...

    Pre Match- Wolves

"At the minute I've got handcuffs on but the planning and work that has gone on is intense. I'm looking for people who when they get knocked down, they get back up again." Holloway started out all sweetness and light with the squad...it appears he now views them as ne'er-do-well lazy...

    Pre Match- Wolves

We are hopeless on Boxing Day...I know, I usually come home from the States around christmas and I dread the boxing day game. My favorite was the Watford 4-4 game! Was the Bolton 2-2 debacle on boxing day too?

Staying up or going down ?

Staying up...I can't stomach the idea of us going down... I also think that the players we have will lower themselves to whatever level they play at...so the same group of players would be just as witless in Div 1....grim times.

    Agyemang

It dawns on me, as I see this seemingly endless list of mediocrity we are linked with, that this Leicester side is by far the worst I have witnessed in my lifetime. How bad are we when we consider the likes of Hayles and Agyemang decent buys? The question is, is this what we can expect...

City Bid for Norris & Hayles

Horsfield? Cort? Deano did a decent job in his advanced years, as did Ferdinand...but then they were a bit better than Hayles in the first place.

City Bid for Norris & Hayles

Hayles could do a job in comparison to some of the sh*te currently in the squad. I doubt it would be long term and I doubt he'd drop straight into the lineup, but he could help with depth.. That being said I wouldn't add him to the likes of Deep Freeze and Cort, but I would replace them...

Also...I think we could be in for a good hammering tonight. 3 or 4-0.... I, of course, hope that I'm wrong. Any point at Ipswich is a point earned, and if Ollie and the lads get anything out of the game, all credit to them.

We've more chance of seeing God....

I think I agree with you that Fryatt is a better player based on the bits I have seen from him on highlights and the odd Sky game they show over here. He's not exactly prolific, which may change with decent service. I was really impressed with the goal he scored against Derby at home. But then I...

We've more chance of seeing God....

Fair enough Melton. With that in mind tell me what you think of Hume's positional sense, instinctive finishing, linking play, aerial ability, tackling, general demeanour, his charming wit and his $750 transfer fee. Also, he's a great right winger no? Have a field day...

We've more chance of seeing God....

Fulop Chambers Ngotty Mcauley Kisnorbo Sheehan Kenton Clemence King Fryatt Hume I suspect he'll draft in Bruno given that we are letting in a few more goals than we have been. I suppose Kenton deserves his place, it seems like he has actually played pretty well so far this...

    Ollie interview in the Guardian

I'd say it was encouraging to see a manager recognize that players should play in their natural positions....but then he has played Maybury, Mattock and Hume on the wing, and shoved Kenton in at central midfield. God only knows what he plans to do with Jimmy Chambers when he gets fit again.

    January Sales

Maybury Newton Hammond De Vries Kishishev Hellings Cort Logan Neilsen I suppose I'd keep Kenton for a bit of depth. The mystery of Kaebi and Ferrara (sp?) leaves that as anyones guess. I'd consider moving Stearman on if we got good money for him. Chambers should be our right back...

    Clem

Well...fair play to him for speaking out and admitting he's not playing very well at the minute. I think the fans would concur Stevie! Thats all well and good, but now if he goes out and sh*ts the bed against West Brom (like he has against most teams recently), the heat will really be on him...
