We certainly have a team with enthusiasm. If Martin has the talent to keep the improvement going, then anything is possible!

I'm in full agreement with your post MTBT, I only wish I had the same optimism but don't get me wrong I am a long way from being pesamistic for the forthcoming season.
I like MA's style so far and if he has the same drive come January/February there is no reason why we can't finish top of the league.

I sense that MA will be like MON during his first 10 games or so - if he gets a few reverses and some fans moan, he will just say " F*ck 'em! " I am certain any player giving less than 100% every match will be 'benched' or dropped. There is plenty of competition for places with several big, strong, keen youngsters waiting in the wings. MA clearly has Milan's full support, as long as we are in the top 6 by New Year's Day!

Agreed. I predicted 7th a couple of posts ago, but it will be a 7th achieved with heart, commitment and passion. It will be 7th heaven.

I don't think we have the strongest squad in this league by any means - but Milan has committed a lot of cash on players' remuneration since he took over and almost certainly means it when he says he expects results.

Quite a lot of us are going for 6th place on the basis of hope and MA squeezing every bit of effort out of a mixed looking squad to save his job
