125th Anniversary

I thought they'd do something today seeing as they've been going on about this fixture as a celebratory occasion.

Rolling out Mauchlen and Walsh to hand out some shirts and a couple of girls waving 125 Leicester Mercury flags was about the sum total of the party as far as I could see.

All a bit piss poor no?

I wasn't expecting fireworks but a half time dedicated some a few former heroes from different era's would seem to be the least they could have done.

I think they're saving the real party for the really big one. You know, the 126.74th anniversary.

Yes I felt it was piss poor also.

Although I guess celebrations = costs.

I agree, was a let down. I mean Walsh and Mauchlen are there pretty much there every week, it was hardly making an effort at all. Just goes to show its a money making exercise and nothing more, i bet most Plymouth fans didn't even know it was meant to be the 125th anniversary fixture
