If England are too have any pretensions of winning the Ashes next year surely now is time to say so long and farewell to Harmy. How long do we go on giving him chances to recapture form that lasted 18 months at best, 3 years ago.

Replacing people at the right time is how great teams are maintained and there is no way the Aussies would have let him go on this long. Bring Broad or someone else in now, to get their place established in the side.

I dont just think its Harmison, there are one or two that need to step-up their game. Typical of England to have a side at 190 for 5, and then finish 470 all out. They are not ruthless enough when they have teams under pressure.

Vaughan gave Harmy just 4 overs today when he conceded 24 runs. I think his time might be up.

Thrill-a-minute hey?

Boycott's been on batting coaching duty by the looks of it.

Couldnt believe him when he said that England were too patient. He has obviously forgot how he used to bat.

Anyways a boring game with a potentially exciting finish. All 3 results possible.

Test cricket is a funny old game, huh. A huge turn around, NZ were the only team in it after 3 and a half days but Sidebottom and Panesar put us with a chance of winning.

If we take the last two wickets cheaply then we could be chasing something like 280 from 85 overs. I would be pretty disappointed if we couldn't chase that. The pitch may be slow but I still don't rate this NZ bowling line up.

67-8
