Premier League match week 36 was due to be played on the midweek of 11th/12th May. Most of those games have moved to the following weekend, and that weekend's games will be moved to the following midweek.

Indeed. Our respective league positions come the time might otherwise have a bearing on who plays.

It's not ideal but I guess you could say the whole season has not been ideal - and we've done alright.

Perhaps there should be some consensus that we should be protecting the most important domestic cup final we have and not risk two knackered teams playing out a shit fest.

They've moved all the cup final weekend's fixtures to then. But it's not finalised because the TV companies will change them. Could be played on the Tuesday or Thursday, and almost certainly with a different kick-off time.
