Not sure about predictions but as far as expectations go I expect to see us challenging for Europe again. Top 4 will be an even tougher ask this year with both Manchester clubs and Chelsea throwing money around like confetti but Europa League would represent a decent season again. We should still be aiming to break that top 4 and snap up a bit of silverware though a lot for me hinges on these next few weeks and how we solve this defensive situation we have at the moment after losing Fofana. I'm going for 6th as a prediction. Best new player - Soumare. Best youngster - Dewsbury-Hall. Top scorer - Nacho.

I feel like the top 3 is probably out of reach this season as Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea should all be incredibly strong after their transfer windows - if any of them fail to finish in the top 3, they've drastically underachieved.

4th place is likely to be Liverpool but a lot of that relies on how lucky they are with injuries and how well Van Dijk and others get back up to speed.

I'd like to think we could compete with Liverpool for 4th this season.

But I think 5th is probably going to be it - but I also think we're comfortably the 5th best team now. Maybe Arsenal could compete there. Maybe Spurs. Depends what they do in what's left of the window. But to me, this season is 'disappointing' if we finish below 6th.

Being pedantic, if you already are disappointed with him, how can you put him down as the season's disappointment, when he would have performed as expected?

Well Perez disappoints me 9/10 times he's on the pitch. But I agree with the sentiment as just listing our worst player didn't make much sense, so that's why I put Vardy as a second choice there on mine too.

After the last two seasons I sense a historically very good season (say 6th) will be seen as a disappointment that we haven’t “pushed on”. On the other hand I just can’t see us sustaining yet another 36 game stretch in the top four.

Think I will go with the flow and just try and enjoy the ride.
