Why does everybody keep calling the Aussies convicts?

Is it because the white Australians are the offspring of the violest English people in history, scum that we didn't want in our own country?.

I agree Homer, nigh on impossible for England to win from this position, would need to bat until at least mid afternoon to ensure the Aussies cannot win and then take 10 wickets in a session and a half.

Where as the Aussies if they take 2 or 3 early wickets could, with their batting power, easily chase down 200 to 250 in 45 overs.
