sounds to me like we have got the players now to try the 352 formation then that would give stearman more chance of playing and canero is a right WINGER not an orthodox right back and stewart or wilcox could play on the left what do u lot think

Good point. We don't seem to have any genuine full-backs. As you say Wilcox, Stewart and Canero are more suited as wing backs.

I would go 4-4-2. Especially when the older defenders like Keown and Elliot start, you'll need wingbacks for defensive cover..just to fill the gaps were a lack of pace can be exploited.

After 2 years of never playing 3-5-2 you think we will?

NO CHANCE!!!

Keown comes from a team that has played the 4-4-2 formation better than any other team

Why on earth would we switch to 3-5-2 ???

MA just won't play 3-5-2. we have potential for cracking wing-backs but we don't have anyone in the Walsh/Taggart/Gilchrist style to fit in on the left side of the central 3 yet. It is essential to have a left-footer there. Stearman is left-footed isn't he?

anyway, as already said, Keown is a master of the back 4 so I doubt we'd switch to 3-5-2 after bringing him in.
