Big crowd is bound to give us a massive lift, says Kelly
Whatever Barnsley fans may think, Leicester City boss Robert Kelly is delighted at the prospect of a packed house when the Tykes arrive at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.

Even without the heartening win at Wolves, the "fans fixture" pricing had already suggested a crowd bigger than expected for the standard of opposition and their league position. It is an added incentive - as if one was needed - for the players to build on the Molineux victory.
Kelly said: "From my point of view, I am really pleased. A big crowd gives everyone a lift and it will make it intimidating for the opposition.
"We want our supporters to get right behind us and make as much noise as they can, but we don't take them for granted. It costs a lot of money to come to games and that is a consideration especially at this time of year, and we realise we have to play our part.
"Big games in front of big crowds is what you come into this game for. The players want to play in full stadiums and I am sure they will get a real lift.
"You could see how they responded in some of our previous games, and also at Wolves on Saturday where there was a big crowd which we silenced a bit because of the way we approached the game.
"When a player thinks on the Friday night that he is going to be playing in front of 28,000 people, he is bound to get more excited about it, and that is what we want."
There could be one very special fan present again. The process surrounding Milan Mandaric's takeover is still on-going and there is every chance he will be paying his second visit to the Walkers.
He decided to miss the game at Wolves because he felt his presence on the City side of the directors box, opposite the Wolves board who have been trying to tempt him to Molineux, would not have been very diplomatic.
All the main points of the takeover have been agreed in principle, but there is still the formality of the final offer being drawn up and accepted by City's board and shareholders.
If everything goes without a hitch, his assumption of control will come in time to boost Kelly's activities when the transfer window opens next month.
Its in his spareroom and he can't fit through the door frame to get in there.
The knicks game I went to at the weekend confirms that.I'm sure that I'm not the only one that thinks away fans have a vital part to play in putting a bit of atmosphere into a game. Home fans only can be very flat.
the one that makes him look like gerard depardieu
did you go to new york then duzza :icon_roll :icon_lol:
ok duzzI was making what I felt was a relevant point. Dispite the Americans massive over enthusiasm for everything they cant create an atmosphere even at MSG due to the fact that their 'fans' dont travel!

They were playing the Milwaukee Bucks.
Yeah, they certainly wouldn't have many fans in New York.

If we've sold 29,000 tickets already. I'd be interested to see the average pice paid per ticket excluding season tickets.
Barnsley would not attract 29,000 full paying people
Good effort, must try harder, C+
