You know that if we had put the aussies in, then they would have been 350/5 at close and everyone would be saying it was a terrible decision not to bat.

We've just been very poor this series. We are as far apart from Australia as we've been for a long time. Once the series is over (and I guess the world cup as well) we need a serious rethink of the direction of the team.

Quite frankly i couldn't see the logic of batting 1st. The conditions were totally in favour of the bowlers. Imo as far as captains go Freddie= Botham. As Freddie got anything right this series
