I have just seen a link to an article entited 'We are in a false position' a comment made yet again by CL. When will this guy wake up and smell the coffee. We want and need results and now not useless propaganda which insults our inteligence.

When will he be gone? Tomorrow, Wednesday or not at all?

no club is in a false position, the league table tells the real story.

On the post-match conference, CL (spelling ok Tymoan?) reckons we are doing 90% of things right. So, for all those who have been to the last five games (I hasten to add, I haven't I'm afraid been to all) what do you all think? 90% right?

God almighty, I am so pissed off tonight. We're in real ****ing trouble aren't we? I'm starting to believe that we may be realistically hosting Carlisle United next term.....

What the **** happens next? I cannot see us getting anything at the 6-pointer at Home Park on Tuesday to be honest...

If CL lives in self denial, then there is no hope for salvation. :icon_conf :icon_sad:

He does seem to be completely deluded that it will all 'click into place' and that 'his boys' will keep us up. Hence why he is not looking for an experienced midfielder or defender on a short-term contract to show some leadership. Having listened to the press conference I'm surprised about how easy he gets it from the journalists (or maybe I just can't hear the questions properly due to the sound quality).

I cannot see how he cannot resign or be sacked if we lose on Tuesday. The word 'untenable' comes to mind.
Looking at it from the board's position, if they continue to back him and we go down then they will be in for a lot of grief. If they change the manager and we go down at least they can say 'well we tried' or 'the supporters wanted the manager changed, it's their fault'.

And no, I don't know who should replace him. I just know that nobody could do any worse than he has done this year so far - and that's a fact, not speculation, since we have 0 points in 2006!!!

It is a somewhat baffling comment to have made, surely if we were doing 90% of things right on the pitch, then surely to God we would be in a far better position than where we currently lie.

I had the fortune to miss yesterdays performance, however I have had the benefit or misfortune to witness plenty of others this season, and I cannot see where Levein is coming from, IMO he is desperately clinging to the mountain's edge by his fingertips and is hoping that by coming out with this "spin" that the board and fans will fall for this and buy himself some time.

I used to be impressed by Levein's post match interviews, he often told it how it was and I felt he saw the game in a similar way to the supporters, however since the pressure has mounted he has become defensive and his assessments of performances now begger belief.

I agree. If its 90% right then why only 2pts from 27

yeh we should have 24.3 points out of 27.....

If we had any other manager, or CL was at any other club their would be ALOT more pressure from the fans to get rid, I cannot believe how easy this guy has had it. Yes there has been alot of discontent on the boards, and some chants at the games, but those have only really been since christmas. We held bloody protests for MON after 16 games!! This muppet has had a year and a half near enough! He thinks the fans are bad now, god help him if we lose on Tuesday

90% right wtf does that mean? Stopping after running 90 metres of a 100 metre race, getting 90 runs when you need 100 to win? The object of the game is to score more goals than the opposition thats more tha 10% wrong IMO.

Nearly good enough is not nearly good enough.
