Go home journalist, you're drunk.

Yeah that one stood out for me too. Including that game instantly told me the article was a load of horse shit.

To an independent observer, that game was poor. We scored two early goals and then sat back and watched Southampton pass the ball in front of us for an hour with no intent whatsoever. Just because it was exactly what we wanted at the time, doesn't mean it wasn't a stinker of a game from an entertainment perspective.

From my recollections of our games and those I suffered as a viewer, I think that list is pretty accurate.

The press also managed to give Huth a rating of 6 in that match, in one of the papers I read. I don't hold that much relevance to their reading of games. He was absolutely immense.

I'm not being blinded by my allegiance to LCFC, it doesn't bother me what they think really. There are plenty of matches this season that we were involved in that weren't the best, but I fail to believe that that was one of the worst matches in the league this season.

Agreed - it was a poor game but we did what was needed. One of the least exciting games we have played in this season.

The fact that the 0-0 at home to Sunderland and the 1-0 loss away to Newcastle never made it also show that article is bullshit

It had one excellent and one very good goal. Its a nonsense.

In the words of the great Mr Predictor:

Huth, Mahrez, Vardy, Ulloa, Cambo. Simply wonderful.

And Wes Morgan - yes I feckin' said Wes Morgan. He was superb today

I love watching this team at the moment. Everything is an absolute joy. I told you weeks ago that this would be the run in of legend. It already is, and there's still two games to go.

In conclusion, drunk journalists go home.

So when journalists say something good about us we get the above and when they say something less good, we get the below reaction. Never let objectivity get in the way eh!

:icon_roll I didn't comment on the first article, so how can you know what I thought about it?

Everything is shit

Views on whether something is good, of value or entertaining is a wholly subjective opinion, not objective.

A bit like your totally misguided feelings regarding Pearson this season.

I really enjoyed that game, for many and varied reasons. The fact that some journo has some column inches to fill now the season has ended is neither here nor there. Best saved for wrapping fish and chips in tonight.

Exactly. I don't think I've been exactly glowing about our performances this season. We were utter shit for about half of it. But to say a game with that Mahrez goal in it was one of the worst games of the season is just silly.

It was certainly better than the 0-0 at home to Sunderland, which isn't on the list.
