We have started to settle for mediocrity because under MON he was very very good at picking out players he would watch them your a long time before he thought about signing them. Managers like that are very few and far between, he was very imsperational, he did sign some average players (savage, elliot, cottee) but got them to play as a team and to there best abilities every game.
We will wont have a manager like that for while, so in the mean time we have to settle for managers like Peter Taylor, Micky Adams who sign players on reputation alone or watch past video's of them. i hope CL is the same type of manager as MON he might not be as good of picking the players to buy but he may be as imsperational.
As for Nalis, he can pass a ball, but little else. I would say he's a good fringe player but not worthy of a place in the starting line up. recent games he has started to look very tired in the second half almost non existant. He isn't a key player, IMO a good player to bring on for the last 30 minutes or so.
