We've only spent 46,117 on Agent fees in the last 6 months. Not too bad really.

Southampton spend a whopping 842,533!!

We've spent £46,000 on a service that a player has arranged for himself.

I wouldn't expect my work to pay when I hire a contractor to do some building work in my house, or an electrician. Neither would I expect them to pay for my legal fees should I require a solicitor for any reason.

I find it proposterous that a club should pay anything at all for a players agent, the player should pay it

For example fees may have been paid to agents who found clubs that were willing to take Joe Hamill and Mark de Vries off our hands.
