Ain't it nice, it's nice - we're NOT going to Cheltenham twice

It looks as though Bristol Rovers ground redevelopment is off. There is a short statement on their website and news elsewhere that their Supporters Club cancelled yesterday's trip up to Cheltenham to have a look over their temporary home.

It seems that most of the funding for the redevelopment of the Memorial Ground was coming from a company which was building student flats above one of the new stands - they have pulled out and it has delayed any redevelopment for at least a year.

If the game's on Sky (at their place or in Bristol) whats the bet that one IH is in the studio giving his insight into the game and his expert:icon_eek: opinions

Don't hold your breath......

Me too Beaumont. My wife's family are in Gloucs so I been thinking that actually, Swindon, Cheltenham, Hereford, Bristle Rvs and even Yeovil away won't be too bad this year for me - will try and factor a few weekends there around that time...

40 years old, but this is Bristol so halve the actual age to get the mental ability counterpart.

You can't judge a city just by the football fans.

Nowt wrong with Bristol IMO, lived there for 8 months a few years ago. Most of the people I met were friendly enough.
