Ali Brown chucked out by Surrey at the end of the season despite having turned down an IPL offer to play the season with them. Several counties interested, doubt we are one of them :icon_sad:

I'd say 'thanks, but no thanks'. 38 years old and hasnt really scored that many runs in the past two years.

He'd probably score runs for someone else but you just know if he came here, he would be a failure :icon_razz

I'm not sure if we really have 'room' for him in the team either. Ackerman and Dippenaar are already signed up for 2009. You'd think Boyce, Cobb, Allenby and Nixon would be regular starters. Then you have Smith, Taylor and New pushing for that final place.

Hypothetically of course, still ages to go til 2009 season

The amount of runs he's scored against us, perhaps it's best to sign him up to ensure he doesn't play against us.....

I'd offer him a one-day contract but I'm sure he's after a full one.
