Sod off! How ridiculous! Calm? I don't know the meaning of the word:mad:

I've seen you extremely calm - usually on the way home from away matches in the far north.

Well I agree with TVFA... What was posted may or may not be true. But no body knows 100% what went on. I don't have a problem with people dicussing stories as that is what this place is all about.

But when people take RUMOURS as FACT, and start the old it's a disgrace blah blah blah. Getting all hot all under the collar about it, I find it a bit OTT.

I would of thought all the new manager "it's a cert" stories would have acted as a warning. It did for me.

IF Birch did get the sack, wait until you actually know for sure he has been, and the reasons why. Then you can start the 'save the birch' campaigns. Now if he stays people will scream cover up!!!! When you don't know he was going anyway.

Discussing anything and everything is what message boards and idle chit chat is all about, but I agree that when we start to fuel the rumours then we risk creating problems where ther aren't any.

IMO this can unltimately adversely effect the performance of the team on the pitch. Surely this is something none of us are interested in!

What if the playing and coaching staff were already aware of the problem and had expressed their displeasure before the rumours ever started?

I agree that occasionally things will occur on the commercial side of the club which subsequently have an impact on the playing side.

What I am interested in is do we have the people in charge - the board / FT etc - who will act decisively when this happens. If we do, and on the whole I think we do, then I am happy to let them get on with it and put the issues to bed. What I think we should avoid, as I have said previously, is fanning the flames and making things worse.

If we do not have the right people in charge, which I think should be assessed by looking at their track record on known issues / confirmed facts, then we lobby to have them removed / voted off the board.
