Some brief notes, we'll get something on the website as soon as.

Around 20-30 (?) people turned up. I can only recall questions being asked by the Trust representatives (making up about a quarter of the attendance), a poster from the Fox message board and one other bloke during the main part of the meeting. (Why so quiet Beaumont & Teeno?)

Tim Davies took questions on his own - no sign of any of the Marketing "if you don't like it, don't buy it" Department. Most questions appeared to be answered as honestly as a format such as last night's meeting would allow and very much with 'a straight bat'.

In summary:
- A commitment was made by Tim Davies to ensure the Club consult more with the fans (personally the problem has never been Tim Davies).

- The Fans Charter (including the various clauses regarding kit cycles / consultation with the Fans Forum) won't be changed without consultation with the Forum.

- Standing. The Safety Advisory Group appear to be on a different planet. Write to your MP (as Teeno noted above, the game was Wigan where the police insisted on £20k being spent on their resources, where Wigan had no history of trouble at all)

- The Fosse Group and new kits were discussed including the soon-to-be-launched away kit, which we've asked to be on a two year cycle & be white. (as Teeno says the indications are both our requests have been met)

- The concert was cancelled by the club and they'll have to stand the costs of this (the figure was never going to be released in last night's meeting).

Following the above, the meeting decended into random irrelevant questions being asked such as why Micky Adams had bought players who were 'too slow', why we sold Paul Dickov and Ben Thatcher instead of keeping them (?!?!!) etc etc etc

The attendance of 20-30 meant it was a complete waste of time in terms of demonstrating that fans are bothered what the club does to them

It sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder with leicester fans - if so how can you represent them? Also why do you bother?

most of what i wanted to know was asked by other people so i just listened to what Tim had to say.

besides which, whilst i'm ok on here i'm not very good at public speaking!!!

i and my boyf did speak to Peter Jones afterwards about how the away tickets are distributed though. mainly why people who are priority 1 have the worst seats(ie right at the back) for most of the games.
found out that things were being done to change this so that those who go to the majority of away games get the best seats possible. those people concerned will be notified by post(don't know when though) and things will be put in place before next season.

PJ did say that the Club had had many letters regarding this matter and they wanted to do this for those who put their money into away support.

I think its a bit unfair to criticise the fans over the poor turnout.People do have family commitments, live outside the area etc.Just because they can't turn up for some meeting doesn't mean they aren't bothered.I thought you people were there to voice the opinions of these people like myself who cannot turn up for one reason or another.

The point made last night, was I'd rather have some extra kip, then stay up & key the main points discussed.

That's an appalling misrepresentation of what you said last night. There was no mention of "extra kip" or anything of the sort.

Let me remind you what you did say:

"...we can't be bothered to tell you", apparently because "so few fans bothered to turn up."

agree with that.

i know plenty who COULDN'T go because there wasn't enough time for them to get home from work, sort the kids and dinner etc out before heading there.

and the advertising of the meeting was great either.
i saw my uncle today and told him about what was said last night, and he didn't even know about it!!

he doesn't have access to the internet so had heard nothing about the meeting at all,if he had,he would've tried to get there.

Maybe they should try holding these meetings on Saturday afternoons? just an idea.

Maybe they should play all football matches at 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. That's an even better idea!!

Foxes Trust are part owners of the Club so they would have that attitude. ;-)

No - its just that we are not afraid of criticising our own fans, in the same way we aren't scared of criticising the club.

Last night now just gives the club another reason to say to the Trust "Yes you say that fans have a strong negative reaction to X, but only 30 came to our last meeting"

To put in context
95% criticise club, 5% criticise fans

We bother because we are not quitters & Trusts are formed for the long term.

We do have an impact on getting fans involved in decision making, obvious example was the consultation on new manager appointment when Micky left & there aren't many more decisions more important than that one to be consulted on

So when you are tired, you always key perfectly thought out responses do you? The Trust is ran by fans not robots & emotion is bound to appear on occasions

We have published some details tonight & will do a website full report soon

Wish you had asked that over the mic, anyway now we are aware of the conversation we will follow it up & get more details. Totally agree with your point & that the club should reward accordingly

you don't need to do anything...cos they are contacting the people concerned individually.
it only really affects those who are priority 1 so i would imagine those people will be hearing from the club during the next few weeks.

like i said before,i'm no good at standing up and asking stuff, get to onervous and mess up what i want to say. i'm much better in a one-to-one convo. that way i can get my ponit across without thinking i'm making a fool of meself in front of an audience!!

agree the timing was poor & should be later - it needs to be a good time for fans not club employees

with our plugs as well there was plenty of notification for internet people & I think the Merc mentioned it a couple of times

"...we can't be bothered to tell you" ...

Possibly not, but I represent only myself. When you write (who are you anyway?), you write under the banner of an organisation that is supposed to be representing the very people that you "can't be bothered" to talk to.

Additionally, your use of the word "we" suggests that it was the Trust that couldn't be bothered. If you were posting as an individual who was tired, perhaps you should have made that clear and not have written under the Trust banner.

The Trust seems to want people to regard it as having some level of professionalism in the way that it goes about its business. I will remain unconvinced for as long as I see statements such as yours, apparently written on behalf of the Trust. I can't imagine that the Trust would have authorised such a statement!

If you were tired and emotional, then why sit down at your PC, log into a website, and then actually make such a pitiful and juvenile post ?

We all complain that the club shows the fans scant respect, bordering on contempt in some instances. Your pathetic posts create the impression that the the Trust has a similar point of view, and I know damn well that they do not.

If you are not capable of presenting a professional front, then post under your own name on such occasions rather than under the representative banner of the Trust

Or can't you be bothered ?

Perhaps if the club advertised this meeting on the same level they did with the new shirt then more people woould have turned up.In my opinion the time is set for 6.30 to actually put people off going so less turn up hence less hassle. How many coporate functions start at 6.30 ????? As said by beaumont by the time people finish work (generally around five)travel home(half an hour to an hour) get ready etc what chance do they have of attending. If homer hadnt mentioned it the day before i would not have known ,and i do have internet access. It is a definite ploy to deter the majority of people to turn up .
