Don't all come crying to me when you finally realise that Puel is a dud and Appleton is off doing great things elsewhere.

Time will tell of course . . . . I am wrong once in a while.

Yea, I'll be crying into my cornflakes when he's guiding WBA out against Brentford.

Especially if we only got drawn against a team like Inter in the Europa league.

All managers eventually fail ( even Sir Alex knew it was time to go) so not much of a bold statement, unless you're putting a time date stamp on the statement, Matt ;)

Made a counter-intuitive decision to leave that comfortable position for a vulnerable assistant manager role because he saw it as his only way to get noticed. I respect that.

He didn’t do it for the money then?

I’m kind of with BN here. I think there *could* be a decent manager in Appleton, and if Puel was to leave for whatever reason I wouldn’t be adverse to him stepping up to the plate. I’d prefer him to the other managerial merry-go-round names that would be linked.

Hope he stays.

I think you mean averse. No D.

Thanks.
