"Tunchev has picked up an injury unfortunately and that is the only negative of the whole pre-season," he said.

"He has a problem at the top of his thigh.

"We must decide whether to do a scan or not.

"It is nothing to do with his knees, but he needed to do the pre-season, so we will see.

BM has a problem at the top of his thigh too. He also has a sore tongue, having dragged it along the pavement so often as Swedish ladies pass him.

The lcfc staff we spoke to yesterday seemed to think that this present injury is minor and nothing to be concerned about.
