Would it be totally ridiculous to suggest playing Finn and Bresnan, and having five bowlers?

Not ridiculous, but who which batsman would you drop ? If they stick with Root and Cook opening, and with Trott and KP having 3 and 4 sewn up. Bell timed his century to perfection, leaving realistically Bairstow the only possible change imo.

Not totally ridiculous, many may say a good idea, especially given the fact the Aussies bat all the way down. Cant see it happening though.

Bairstow is very fortunate to have been picked ahead of Compton IMO. He would definitely step aside should we go with 5 bowlers.

Negative tactics by England yesterday. Never good to watch cricket where a team is so obviously playing for a draw unless something is at stake.
