We sometimes get this in the solid fuel stove on the boat, but if you riddle it through regularly and empty them once a day, it can be avoided. What fuel are you using?

:icon_lol: Lovely stuff:icon_lol:

Geraint Jones will be England's wicket-keeper in the first Ashes Test, coach Duncan Fletcher has confirmed
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/6140748.stm

Absolutely bonkers that he has revealed this now. What if he gets injured and the 'second choice' has to face the Aussie sledging?

What a kick in the teeth for Read. He did nowt wrong in the tests against Pakistan, and whilst I don't think he's good enough to score test centuries Jones has done nothing since the Ashes to warrant selection. Smacks of a token chance for Read and that Fletcher was probably glad he failed in the CHampions Trophy!

I really fear that Fletcher is also going to pick the King of Spain ahead of Monty. And that Vaughan will walk back into the Ashes team despite not having played a game of cricket for a year.

I think the biggest worry is Harmison. He looked a great bowler 18 months/2 years ago but unless his form picks up drastically then our premier bowler is going to be hammered all over the park.

Hes generally terrible away from England too.

It is worrying about Trescothick. Even the bowling machine in the nets was getting him out easily. Good to see Strauss, Cook, Pietersen and Freddie get some runs though. Hopefully Pietersen can get a century.

Might have a bet on an Aussie whitewash! At least that way i wont feel so shit if it happens!

It all depends how England start the series imo. If we have a good first test match then maybe the doubts will start to creep in with the Aussies. One good thing for us is that most of this team don't carry the scars of defeat in the Ashes like previous touring England sides. If we can get at them from the start then imo we have a decent chance.

England all out 349. Pietersen made 122. NSW 138-4 shortly after tea, heading for a draw.

tresco's come home. A return of his stress related illness.

Its a shame really as he is an excellent opening batsman! We will miss him :(

Unbelieveable. Obviously was lying in that press conference he gave a few days ago about how he was over his stress related illness. Big blow for the team but glad he has announced now rather than middle/end of the ashes after having failed miserably with the bat. Better late than never.

Think Cook will open now with Strauss. Joyce or Key to replace Tresco:102:
