Could have been better, but would have taken it before the day started. Shane Warne thinks it was England's day. A 400 score is always competitive but what it doesn't do is guarantee that you won't lose, which 500+ would usually do.

As pointed out on Sky, Cook, KP, and Prior have all got out the same way 3 times in the series. Prior in particular seems to have been worked out, and unfortunately with Freddie not a fully fledged test batsman these days we are a batter light.

Proves what a boost it was having a proper all-rounder in the team in 2005.

Same old story, the England batsman giving their wkts away far too cheaply.

We will probaly get between 420-450, and that wont look clever when the Aussies are 300 for 1.

Sad thing is, Australia will win this series with the current bowling line up of Siddle(ok), Hilfenhaus(ok), Johnson(off form), North (batsman) and Clarke(batsman)

Lets not press the panic button just yet. Yes it is annoying that the middle order gave thre wickets away, but the pitch is offering a little bit more than Cardiff, so who knows what will happen.

Every game will finish in a draw and the whole thing will be a massive waste of time.

Lets be greedy and try and get another wicket before lunch!

Given caught out, which was the wrong decision.

However, there was also an appeal for LBW that wasnt given, but was out.

So the umpires have got it wrong, but got it right. If that makes sense :)

Would be nice

Even if this does end up a draw it would be good for us to really put the Aussies under pressure and for our bowlers to get into them. If only to give them confidence for the tests to come.
