Ashes to Ashes a complete load of wank. I was really looking forward to this and what a fecking let down.
Nobody used mobile phones back then unless you were prepared to carry a big box with it.
And where do they get the idea somebody can skip along a river bank dancing over the bullets being fired at him from a fecking machine gun. Utter wank, and the DCI Hunt should be called Isaac not Gene.
I will not be watching this again, I bet the music was not from 1981 either.

I must be the only person who never watched Life on Mars and I won't be watching this,don't really get the big fuss

I've not watched either of them, not even for a boring 1/2 hour, I also have no intention of watching them.

I hope this makes my position on this matter clear

I prefer the 70's to the 80's but decided to give it go and i found it quite amusing its all about Gene Hunt this time round.The speedboat scene was quality.

I was thinking about this during the 2nd episode. I don't recall seeing mobile phones in the 1st ep - but they were using walkie talkies.

But then again I might have just missed it.
