Not that I know of.

But no doubt some Balm Cake will claim that a song promoting the recreation of a major Israeli city in our fields and ruining the view is our national song.

I wouldn't call it 'spin friendly', its just a good all round pitch that lets all players prosper. The Oval is the same.

I think this debate is a bit academic. Games are awarded primarily on money, Glamorgan have the Welsh tourist board behind them so can make pretty competitive bids. In an ideal world it would be the best grounds who get the best games but the ECB is just interested in expanding its coffers atm.
