I am surprised at the pro-Sappleton movement. Is this wishful thinking or does anybody believe he is talented?What little I have seen of him and comments from the training ground have been very unimpressive. Despite a desperate need for goals Allen, Megson, Holloway and now Pearson have not seemed keen to play him. I fear he is another Hellings.

Sappleton does seem to have been a bit of an anti-climax, and I understand there's people within the club that feel the same. I truly hope he gives himself the chance to kick-on to what was expected, but again, it seems that this may be some way off yet. Hopefully, in time.....

Sappleton is still very young but let's face it, we picked him up after he'd been released from QPR's academy (before they were rich). I'm not sure how much people expected, but maybe it was too much.

Not sure he was released was he? I remember QPR fans being upset at the departure.

All about his attitude though I believe, get that sorted and we have a good player. Looks like it's in the balance....

Hinckley were offered McKay and Sappleton in loan deal. After watching them play, Hinckledash rejected.
