STEARMAN---------McAULEY--------KISNORBO--------JOHANSSON

SYLLA--------------HUGHES-------------TIATTO-------------WELSH

HAMMOND------------HUME

Subs:- Henderson, Maybury, Wesolowski, Low, O'Grady.

If Kenton, Fryatt, McCarthy, Williams and Johnson are all still unfit, I'd like the team to be exactly the same as it was on Saturday, only with Sylla starting ahead of Low.

I think we can push Villa all the way, but we won't win. Prediction: LCFC 1-3 Villa, with a crowd of 23,439

I'm sure one of them will pull round to play with Weso, but still it's worrying if you consider what we'd do otherwise with only Weso (coming back from injury) in central midfield.

Listening to the Rob Kelly interview it sounds like he's not expecting Hughes or Tiatto to play. If they're carrying injuries he might want to rest them for this one anyway, he probably sees the league as being more important.

Wesolowski is also doubtful, as is Porter who is ill - although presumably Sunderland will allow Welsh to play.

So we could be in the situation where we have no central midfielders available, and may end up with Sylla and Maybury playing there!

im not too bothered about the result, sure id like us to win but id rather escape without any injuries and suspensions

Ill play, its the only way ill get in the ground unless the useless idiots in the tickets office pull thier fingers out!!

might see some of the youth on the bench then

Dodds is at Northwich!

Oh

Then could it be...

---------------Hume----------------
Welsh-----------------------Sylla
-----------Weso or Tiatto -----------

Johansson-Kisnorbo-McAuley-Stearman

Edit: forgot about welsh!

Am I right in thinking Weso and/or Tiatto could be fit?

Return of Kisnorbo to CM? :037:

Porter has played there for the reserves... Hume... er... Stearman has played there for the reserves in the past.... As RK has said that it'll be first teamers he obviously won't be throwing any kids into the starting eleven...

I would not be surprised to see Weso partner Maybury in central midfield or possibly Kisnorbo, doubt Kelly will be prepared to risk Tiatto after saturday's performance, the league has to be the priorty, however nice a cup run may be.
