I eventually bought mine at about half 11 this morning. There was a little bit of a queue and everyone seemed to be buying Villa tickets.

I actually only brought 4 villa tickets i got the other 20 through my affilation with the county FA.

just thought id let you know that the ****wits that run our club have actually given villa 5000 tickets instead. i through a paddy in the ticket office, its a ****ing ridiculous amount that they didnt have to give them in the first place. TNBD your a cnut.

5000 is a lot but i suppose our fans havent exactly been turning out in droves and maybe theyre thinking its the only way to get more fans in and improve atmosphere

15% of 32,000 is 4,800. So they've given Villa 200 more than they had to :icon_roll
That's probably more to do with the way the segregation is organised than an attempt to sell more tickets.

I doubt very much if this is true. The club have already had to re-site ST holders who had been sold their own seats in Blocks L1 and M when Villa were given the extra 900 tickets to bering them up to 4,112. If they had now given Villa a total of 5,000 they would have had to re-site more City fans.

The original allocation was just under 3,200. This was increased by about 900 to just over 4,100.

It sounds as though you informant might have added the 900 to the 4,100 to get an incorrect figure. Certainly Villa haven't offered any more since that 900.
