The list of Ruud self-destruct decisions is growing.

1. Not taking the game at Brentford
2. Thinking it was fine to pick Ward
3. Not paying attention to our opponents strengths/weaknesses

New today:

4. His odd obsession with Ayew over Buonanotte
5. Thinking it was fine to pick Thomas

I actually can't be arsed to watch.

But then again, who else do we play at full-back?

And ****ing Ayew FFS

After the great stuff we played last week

Yeah i know he scored the other week but he's ****ing shite

If Ayew plays well, he actually gives us someone who can hold onto the ball. If he plays well.

It's 2025 and we're playing the following back four away to a team doing well in the Champions League:

James Justin
Conor Coady
Jannik Vestergaard
Luke Thomas

Put your mortgage on a home win.

I’m not sure that team is RVN fault, it’s shit decisions over multiple seasons.

Totally understand Ayew over Bonnie and why Thomas is in

Ayes is shit. Putting him in over Buonanotte is complete ****ing lunacy.

Obviously is should be JJ at LB and Choudhury at RB.

Apart from that though....

You understand Ayew? Over Buonanotte? After last week? And playing Thomas? Over swapping JJ to that side? Where he is infinitely better anyway?

Come on mate, this is a Cooperesque selection.

We are simply preparing for next season in the championship. This window should be about shifting out shit and buying in young hungry players with potential.

Top, you've royally ****ed it up.

Not convinced he's made the wrong decision with Thomas in the defence instead of Hamza. That's borderline. Both options are awful.

Buonanatte has to be starting though. I can only think he thinks Ayew might offer more defensively.

Ayew offers more defensively and will get us up the pitch. Mavididi, Bonnie and El K all playing is lunacy.

Not sure playing two players out of position is a great idea…

Let’s be honest none of it is great, but we are where we are

Villa have Tyrone Mings and Matty Cash instead of Pau Torres and Diego Carlos.

That could give us a chance?

I'm taking my nieces to the cinema so will only see the score at full time - here's hoping for a nice surprise.

Of what? Winning a throw in?
