Just to follow this up, I've just watched the full thing and he refuses to name the club, except to say that they don't play in red.

The club is once again confident that they'll be ok and I'm sure there are fans of other clubs equally thinking 'could it be us?' In short, wait and see. We're kinda ****ed either way imo, points deduction or no.

With the best will in the world, I cant see RvN turning this around. He certainly hasn't got the squad to do it and I don't see that we can get bodies in that'll make enough of a difference. Who knows though. Weirder shit has happened.

It is. I posted my diatribes last season in a few places, and some fans of other clubs just want us shafted - rightly or wrongly. Imo, it kneecaps clubs in the name of a level playing field and effectively achieves the exact opposite of its intentions; it ring fences and protects a status quo. I think it's anti-competitve. If a moneybags owner wants to splash the cash over their play thing then let them at it. That horse has long since bolted.
