I may be smacked with the loyalty stick here but with all the discounting/freebies going on I'm very seriously wondering why it's worth bothering with my season ticket, all the seats now have a fairly decent view so there's no need to worry that you have a stantion in the way and with the extra capacity even if there's a high profile cup game you're 95% certain of a seat. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Season Tickets hit an all time low next year as people get sick of sitting next to a non-season ticket holder who pays the same/less than them and people cherry pick their games due to the low standard of football in the Championship.

Season ticket holders have ALREADY saved on average £50 over non season ticket holders.

That may be true but I can see a worrying trend as the club in essence is gambling on the loyalty of ST holders while they throw more and more carrots out to tempt new supporters.

I can see your argument but surely its good to attract new fans whilst still rewarding your season ticket holders? I dont have an issue with it perosnally, Id rather the stadium was full every week as long as I am not penalised by paying in advance.

I'm not sure of your point...
For us to receive discounts we have to give the club £300, for a community to receive discounts, they just have to like cricket

Right OK, gotcha!

I still think its a good saving so far though and definatley worthy of the up front investment.

To be fair, they arent going to dish out free tickets to the cricket dudes forever, they will want to make some cash out of them!!

TBH, I don't mind. I don't get a season ticket to save money, I get it becasue I'm too lazy to buy a ticket for each game. I'm missing Villa out of laziness
