Autobiographies

I'm looking for a good autobiography where the subject has had to come though a fair bit of adversity.
I know the Lance Armstrong one is supposed to be a good read but any of you out there got any other good recommendations.

Any help is greatly appreciated

My favourite autobiography is the one written by Cass Pennant

Haven't read it, but seen the film. Very good story, but all their own fault.

Best autobiog for me was Paul McCartney, Many Years From Now.

If you're after a "adversity" style autobiog, my other fave is Michael J Fox, Lucky Man

Lance Armstrong is good, although it paints him to be a cocky little so-so. His second book IMO is tosh but his autobiography is superb.

There is an updated version, I have it but haven't got round to reading it yet, in fact I think I'll make it the next one to read.

Can't stand him after all the shite put in the mirror about the la manga crowd then the stuff about the british squaddies. He is a total twat IMO.
