I've just had to Gooooooogle to find out what they are and I agree, poofy little cakes by the looks of them.

The waiter brought over a fruit basket and a cheese board to finish off the meal. The evil **** smiled at me, as if to say this is yours. I started on it, and he kept coming back and smiling and then going. I then realised that the big tip I had given him at the start of the stay has impressed him and this was his was of saying thank you,and he would feel insulted if I left anything.

It took me nearly an hour and a half to polish it all off, but I did it!




It was only later on I found out that this basket and cheese board was for all the restaurant. You were supposed to take what you wanted and he would then take it on to the next table. I cannot read or speak Thai and his english was poor so how was I to know ........
