He could have taken the BM route through Spain Germany and Holland then took the ferry and then a coach back to Leicester and still got back for Thursday.

He could have got on a slow boat to China, sailed the seven seas, walked along the road to nowhere and then walked 500 miles and then 500 more and still have, er.... Well. P'raps not.

In which case he will have been kidnapped by Somalian pirates and we will never get him back unless we send the Navy in for him!

And I can remember when he would have had enough change left for a packet of woodbines

So seriously, what has happened to him? Holiday? Compassionate family leave? Has he tweeted anyone? Does Stringer know anthing? ... sorry, stupid question.

and from a previous thread…

"Tbh, when fans think that they have more right to abuse players, than say, the checkout clerk at ASDA, who is also simply providing you a service…"

Prof, you got a sponsorship deal going or something? :icon_lol:

You're right! Maybe it's a subconscious advertising campaign. I don't know why, I only shop there occasionally on the way home from work. Shop at Tesco much more often.

Perhaps he's going around the world in 80 days. In which case he'll just be back for the end of the season.

Agent told him to take his time coming back whilst they review options.

I dunno. We pluck him from the obscurity of Scotland, give him a platform to show what he can do and now he is possibly thinking of pastures new.

Sol, Sol Wanker, Sol, Sol Wanker......... repeat ad infinitum.

We don't know what instructions or flexibility he was given by the club concerning his return.

You could be right or the club indicated that they weren't that fussed about his timing or it suits for Bamba to be out of the way to launch a new defensive partnership. In any case I've thought for some time that he's not going to suit Pearson in central defence. Shame really because I rate Bamba.

That suggestion is at odds with what is being suggested in the Mercury story from which this thread stemmed.

Quite so - but I wouldn't expect the club to be saying that we're not that fussed if he doesn't make it back for the Norwich fixture. I quite rate Bamba - but just guessing I doubt if he is Pearson's ideal at centre back.
