Bar - Stewards

Did anybody see the kerfuffle in D2 involving our so called safety stewards. I brought 10 family members to the walkers yeterday and they where all disgusted by the treatment of our fans by the orange coat brigade.

As far as i am aware there was a bunch of lads all singing and dancing, generally enjoying themselves and creating a bit of much needed atmosphere when they where approached by the stewards and escorted out. Then it all kicked off. It could have been far far worse if the lads mates had joined in to help him. I went to speak to a head steward but surprise surprise there was not one available.

just wondered if anyone else saw it.

I was watching it from F1 - the stewards were bored by the looks of it and fancied chucking someone out... it comes to something when you cant even support your team

I thought it was proberly fair enough - the guy looked like someone who would want to cause trouble. Calling the Police over and such seemed at bit OTT.

i couldnt see from E3 but from the entire stands reaction i assume it wasnt for a good reason that he was kicked out. there have been people warned by stewards for putting coats on the advertising boards at the front and they wonder why people don't respect their job. one of the police fell over infront of me when running to the already difused situation. after the match they were in the car park up by the counting house and members of the public were pointing out the targets for the police, and they just stood there going "those ones", pointing and looking at eachother.
