I know that LCFC's smoking policy (or should that be lack of policy) frustrated one season ticket holder so much that they, after having a season ticket at LCFCfor 30 years on the trot, decided to foot with their feet and not renew their season ticket. Joe, I know you have your 'naughty boy' hat on but if you had ever spoken to Tim Davies, as lots of us have, you will know that he is a genuine fan. I do not know of anyone who has phoned, emailed or written to him that has not had a personal reply or an offer to meet to discuss their concerns. The fact that he listens to everyone does not mean he can please everyone.

The police will tell him - no letting the home fans wind up the away fans etc., or we will have to keep them back after the match and charge you more.

The fans will tell him - Put the away fans in F2 and G1 so we can really give them grief, especially after the match when they try to leave!

We used to let the fans do as they please in the seventies and eighties. Football grounds were not pleasant places to take your wife and children and/or grandchildren to watch your heroes!

If we are ever going to see the stadium full again it will be because the occasional fans come back because the whole experience on and off the pitch is good. We can do f*uck all about good on the pitch, except cheer; that is CL's job. We can do something about off the pitch, which is to get the balance between curbing the 'nutters' and letting everyone else let off steam.

We will never fill the stadium with just L1 and E1 to E3!

I know Tim Davies tries to see everyone who wants a word personally but so what, so he should. I know that he can't please everyone but that's a problem every suit has to face, I just don't like the way he seems to play fans off against each other whilst the linings of his pockets get shinier.

Don't get me wrong, I believe Davies's heart is in the right place, I just don't think his brain is.
