Not sure whether this has been started yet. If it has then I apoligise.

I have just been to the training ground to record some interviews with Ian Holloway (and David Bell) and has told the fans they (the team) won't let them down this Saturday. But he also said that he has already picked the team and told the players who is starting on Saturday. Is this right?

I'm in two minds as to whether this is a good thing or not. On one hand I think that the starting eleven can now get down and work on their game for Saturday but then what about the rest of the squad?

weve heard this time and time again

Huge game and I would say that if we don't win we're down.
The confidence a defeat will take from us and give to Wednesday ahead of our game with them would be too much for this squad to cope with.

We must win the next two IMO - I have the feeling that Stoke would tear us apart.

No. I'm asking whether it's the right, or correct, thing to do.

Seems sensible to me, they can then spend a couple of days working out how to look like a team!!

I wonder if Howard is very happy at the moment? Hope not.

He looks ok to me

Disagree with this. It's obviously a massive game because they all are, but as long as we are still within three points of Wednesday come the end of the weekend, it won't be the end of the world and our fate will still be in our own hands. On this basis, I'd take a point at Barnsley. IF Wednesday lose to Blackpool and we go on to beat them the following week, we're then effectively safe. Easy!

How many tickets have we sold? The bunch of players we have deserve nothing from the fans, but it's still essential that we go there and give them all the support we can.

Club are saying we have sold 3,500 and frantically trying to sell the remaining 2,500.

Ollie: "We Won't Let You Down"
Posted on: Thu 17 Apr 2008

Leicester City boss Ian Holloway has sent out a personal message to fans ahead of his side's important Championship clash against Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday.

The Foxes go into the game in 22nd position - with three games of the season still to play.

But Holloway says that the he is only looking up as his side prepare to face the Tykes this weekend.

He said: "I understand how nervous you are, but I believe the lads here know their jobs and know what is expected of them. I believe they are gaining some strength. I can see people who aren't normally leaders starting to look like they have a bit in them. That's what we need.

"We have got to play two of the teams that are down there with us. There are a lot of sides battling to stay in this division and it's impossible to say exactly how many points we are going to need and who is actually going to get out of it. But just because we are in that bottom place at the moment doesn't mean that it is all over.

"Yes - it was a disappointing to only come out of the Colchester game last week with a point. But on the balance of play no way did we deserve to go one down. We showed great character to come back and that is what it is all about.

"We have got to give it everything. I believe we can get out of this. It's all right saying it but we have got three games left. Bring them on - absolutely bring them on.

"Your support is immense and it is really helping everyone who is wearing that badge - I can assure you.

"Last weekend against Colchester you were absolutely brilliant. I hear that we have sold nearly 4,000 tickets already and that is going to be 6,000 come the weekend. That's incredible. But then again, nothing surprises me with you lot.

"We won't let you down."

.

I agree - a draw would be a valuable result followed by a win over Wednesday. I couldn't guess the Barnsley result except I think they are probably already about safe so that might help us to get a draw or even a win.

I've never thought we would be relegated - if we were to lose at Barnsley I would probably change my mind.
