Leicester City Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Poland winger Bartosz Kapustka, subject to FA, Premier League and international clearance.

The 19-year-old wideman joins the Premier League champions from Polish club Cracovia, signing a five-year deal to 2021, and has linked up with his new teammates in Stockholm ahead of City's International Champions Cup clash with Barcelona on Wednesday.

Kapustka made more than 60 appearances for Cracovia, with his impressive displays leading to an international debut for Poland in September 2015, as a substitute against Gibraltar.

He was again part of the international setup during Poland's Euro 2016 campaign, putting in an outstanding display in their opening-match victory over Northern Ireland.

Kapustka will wear the no.14 shirt and becomes the Foxes’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Luis Hernandez, Ron-Robert Zieler, Papy Mendy and Ahmed Musa.

5 years contract that's good. Shows a lot of positive intent on both sides of the negotiations. Lets hope he fulfils his early promise, if he does we have a very exciting player on our hands.

So he might feature tonight?

Apparently the club have inserted a £15.50 buyout clause just in case he does turn out to be very exciting

Nice little squad we appear to be assembling.

Hoping that we don't have any leaving in the next month.

I was thinking that, too.

With Amartey, Gray, Kapustka, Mendy & Musa all being brought in this year and being between 19 and 24 years old, along with Chilwell coming through the ranks, we have a good nucleus of younger players.

And if Hamza keeps developing out on loan, he might be ready for PL in a year or two.

I agree. I'm hoping he gets a fair bit of game time at Burton, because a season in the Championship sounds like a really good thing for him, at this stage.

....assuming that we're still in the PL in a year or two.
