According to Yahoo Sports, Beckford has a torn hamstring and will be out for at least a month, consequently could be heading back to City for treatment, unless he's allowed to stay up in Huddersfield for necessary repairs.

The Huddersfield academy regularly train at a gym I go to. As I was leaving this morning I bumped into Beckford coming in with the kids. He was wearing a strap on his left hamstring and a gormless expression - I guess it's been a while since he had to slum it and train with us proles. Hopefully that all means that he's staying with town for now.
