Why do his generation repeatedly use the phrase "yeah, no, definitely" in answer to a question?

Liverpool are ready to rival Arsenal for Leicester City’s England under-20 international Ben Chilwell next year.
Chilwell, on loan at Huddersfield Town, was watched by the chief scouts of both Premier League clubs in the 2-0 win at Birmingham City on Saturday.

Liverpool’s Barry Hunter and Arsenal’s Steve Rowley were both at St. Andrew’s to keep an eye on the teenage left-back, who is already emerging as one of the most talked about young players in the country.
Personally, I think Mr Moore has missed the bus.How we could do with Moore developing at a similar rate again! He wasn't far away from his peers Drinkwater, James, Schlupp etc. in the Championship but just didn't make any progress last season. Can only assume it's attitude because he looked a talented player before

Apparently Moore's attitude is a problem.
I can recall him. He used to be one of our own.I wonder if he may be recalled. Only made 4 appearances all season.
