Interesting interview with Pearson though re Marshall:

"no doubting his ability"

"finance was a secondary thing"

"he needed a new challenge"

Also said Shakespear's tongue was firmly in cheek regarding knowledge of transfer.
 
Well, Stringy has made a story out of **** all, as usual.

Big story, Gally and his band of merry men are not happy, seems Ben was in with the wrong sort at Leicester.

"not left on any bad terms, just one of those things"

Was asked about our start and asked the mood must be good at LCFC:

"good start for LCFC, mood in camp is OK but a few there who don't want to be there"

"good squad so they will do well"

He did also say we have a good manager, so at least he has maintained some professionalism despite his supposed dislike for Pearson.

His incessant over-hyping really does mean he has no credibility left as a journalist, doesn't it? No wonder Pearson can't suffer him post match.
 
What did NP have to say about his relationship with the DoF ??
 
marshall had a few great moments, but ultimately he didn't affect the game enough, wasn't quick, couldn't beat his man, offered nothing defensively. looked to have great potential when he signed, turned out to be a slightly better version of paul gallagher.

also didn't really carve out a position for himself, was ineffectual at right midfield.

when he came on away at barnsley last season he was a joke, he was waddling around like he'd shat himself, sauntering over to take corners when we were two down in a game we desperately needed a result from. i actually assumed he was injured, but turns out he wasn't. also had a pop at a fan during the game. if that performance was an indication of his over-all attitude, then i'm delighted we've managed to move him on full-stop, let alone for £1m.

just hope we can reinvest some of the money, not holding my breath though
