jimmy grimble was quaint in a billy's boots/ boys own way.

but the list is a bit confusing, footy/ footy violence.

on the footy violence front, there's only one, gary oldman in the firm, even steve mcfadden(phil mitchell) get's a cameo role

i.d. isn't even in the same league imho.

Best footie film must be 'Fever Pitch', brill film even it was about the gooners. Emotion common to all fans

"The Arsenal Stadium Mystery" has just started on channel 4. A player has just been murdered during the match, Scotland Yard are on the case so no doubt they'll get their man.

Up The Arse!

yes, I'll go along with the Arse Stadium mystery. Saw it years ago. Made in the '30's I think. Reckon the whole team are having a pipe or ciggie at half time.

forgot about fever pitch but yes that was a very good film, it would probably be my favourite but would be a lot better if leicester not arsenal took the lead role.

forgot the firm, spot on cornish

i really cannot believe that mike bassett has so many votes.
it has to be one of the worst and least amusing films in silver screen history.

The Firm is a f*c***g cracker..no doubt...but "Escape to Victory" is a brilliant mix of bad acting (Mike Summerbee is quality ..unlike his son), massivley implausible footy action, Stallone as the archetypal "dodgy keeper", hilarious crowd scenes and a strange Ipswich prescence (I bet it's No.1 Footy film of all time with the Tractor Boys) mixed with a WWII escape story line...I've always liked Colditz and the Wooden Horse... or maybe I should leave the Rizlas alone?

Just seen the poll result to date...don't let Mike Basset win..much as you wouldn't want Harry Basset to still be in charge...

it'd be a joke :!:

very disappointed that mike bassett won

it was a great film.......
apart from the plot, acting, script and comedy value

the world's gone mad!!!

yeah
i missed the firm too
sorry

but i still want to know who voted for gregory's girl????????
