That was my first full season and the first season ticket I’d had. Not only was it a rollicking triumph of a season but it meant I grew a lot closer with family and really understood what being a football fan was about.
Exactly this. After the previous two years, it was amazing. To beat Derby in the final, after they’d spent all that money, was even better. Wembley was carnage that day when the winner went in.
