Wigan boss Paul Jewell has warned his players to be ready for a stern test at Leicester this weekend.

Latics must aim for three points at The Walkers Stadium if they are to stay ahead of third-placed Ipswich on goal difference in the race for automatic promotion.

"Leicester are going to be strong," said Jewell. "They're building for next year and will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

"They're a difficult side to beat and we know it will be tough down there.

"I'm asking my players for more and more all the time because I want them to get over the finishing line.

"They deserve it for all the hard work they've put in and that they continue to put in."

I like Paul Jewell, not because of this, he has done a great job with Wigan they are not a fasionable club (a bit like us) and has had them near to promotion for a few seasons now. I hope they go up, but not after we give them a stuffing on sat
