He was awful in his first few appearances. Not being able to control a football isn't anything to do with his teammates' anticipation. That he has improved, doesn't alter this.I'm not surprised. He's a class act.
Even on his debut, where he was widely criticised for being garbage, he really wasn't. He was looking to do things that his team mates weren't expecting and so they looked like bad passes. Now, his colleagues are starting to work him out and that makes him appear to be improving.
It's still early days but I'm far more impressed with him than I ever really was with Maddison. Madderzzz was all puff and fluff whereas El Khannouss lets his talent do the talking.
